2. What is CWF Group’s approach towards clients?

Our approach to financial planning for our clients is simple.  We first take the time to fully understand their financial and personal circumstances then together we work with them to ensure that they have the best possible financial solutions to meet their needs.  Most importantly we do this whilst being mindful of their budget restrictions and what other assets they have available for investment and risk management solutions.  CWF Group will work with them from start to finish to ensure that the strategy implemented is properly executed.

3. I’ve heard of financial companies being involved in Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) or Pyramid schemes, is or will CWF Group be ever involved in this business model?

Absolutely not.  CWF Group Advisors do not make money from recruiting new Advisors nor do they make money from other Advisors’ business or clients.

Instead, our business model is to focus on providing personalized attention to each Advisor through our mentoring program, weekly training, team meetings, teamwork etc.

4. Is this a commission based job?

Our compensation package consists of several components, monthly tiered income (performance based), commissions and bonus.

Your monthly tiered income is determined each month based on your prior performance and experience.

However, the vast majority and core compensation at the initial stage would be commission unless prior financial experience can be demonstrated.

5. Am I required to sell to my friends and family?

You can if you like.  However just selling to your friends and family won’t cut it unless you are very popular.

6. How do I get clients?

An experienced seasoned (minimum 10 years of experience) Financial Advisor will work with you to develop a customized marketing strategy suitable for you.

7. What is the licensing requirement to become a Financial Advisor?

You must at the minimum hold an Insurance License issued by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).  To obtain an Insurance License you must complete the LLQP (Life Licensing Qualification Program) course.

8. Can I study this course by myself?

Absolutely, this course is designed for self-study.  You can complete it on your own or take advantage of the training classes.

There are several course providers.  CWF’s preferred course provider provides convenient online study materials and online Certificate Examination.  We offer complimentary training classes and course fees reimbursement program to qualified candidates who register through our preferred course provider.

9. What level of knowledge, technical skills, and soft skills is required?

Full training and support will be provided to you.  The most important thing is having the right attitude and being coachable.

Mortgage Agent / Mortgage Broker

2. What is CWF Group’s approach towards clients?

Our approach to residential and commercial lending for our clients is simple.  We first take the time to fully understand their financial and personal circumstances then together we work with them to ensure that they have the best possible borrowing solutions to meet their needs.  We have unmatched abilities to underwrite, place and fund residential prime and sub-prime mortgages.  As a CWF Group client, this means that when other companies say no to lending, we look to find a way to say yea.  CWF Group will work with them from start to finish to ensure that the strategy implemented is properly executed.

3. What is the level of competency our your employees?

CWF Group Mortgages and all of our managers and agents are members of The Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals(CAAMP), and subscribe to its by-Laws, code of ethics and standards of professional practice (CAAMP boasts most of Canada’s institutional lenders, including major chartered banks, as its members). We are also proud to be a part of the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association.

4. Is this a commission based job?

You must at the minimum hold a Mortgage Agent License issued by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).  To obtain a Mortgage Agent License you must complete the RMAC (Mortgage Agent Course for Licensing).
